The club currently has two 'O' gauge layouts
Severn Wharf
This is a model of a modest terminus somewhere on the Severn Estuary. The layout is unusual since there is no run-round loop. Instead there is a short traverser at the station end, which can accommodate small tank engines only. The station is dominated by the large goods warehouse.
The layout was acquired by the club second-hand for the princely sum of £200. It was acquired to satisfy the needs of the growing 'O' gauge group at the club.
It measures 16ft by 2ft and has been extensively modified and improved since it was purchased. It can accommodate DC and DCC control.
It currently resides with a club member in order to make way for the new club 'O' gauge layout.
Mosborough (Working title)
The group's 'O' gauge layout has had a somewhat interrupted start. Originally designed as a continuous double track loop the sheer size of the layout took many of our members by surprise! The plans have now been scaled back to create a more manageable layout. The circular layout will feature a double track main line running through a countryside scene. The track is down and wiring is currently ongoing. Why not come along and help us with the build.
